How auto publish works for reviews
Auto publish can help approved-looking reviews appear faster on your storefront.
Turn on auto publish
- Open MP Product Reviews.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Review moderation.
- Enable Auto publish non-spam reviews.
- Click Save.
What happens when auto publish is enabled
When a customer submits a review, MP Product Reviews checks the review for spam signals.
If the review has no spam score, the app publishes it automatically.
If the review is marked as suspicious, it stays Pending even when auto publish is enabled.
Why a review may stay pending
A review may stay pending if it includes spam signals such as:
- Suspicious keywords
- URLs
- Repeated characters
- Mostly uppercase text
- Disposable email domains
- Suspicious email domains
Best practices
- Use auto publish when you want low-risk reviews to appear quickly.
- Check the Pending tab regularly.
- Keep suspicious reviews pending until you verify them.
- Unpublish or delete reviews that should not appear on the storefront.
