How to customize the reviews list widget

The Reviews list widget displays published product reviews and includes the write review form.

Open the widget settings​

  1. From your Shopify admin, open MP Product Reviews.
  2. Go to Display reviews or Storefront widgets.
  3. Click Customize on Reviews list.

Customize overall appearance​

Use the Overall settings to adjust:

  • Rating icon
  • Rating icon size
  • Icon color
  • Empty icon color
  • Text color
  • Background color
  • Border color
  • Border radius
  • Font family
  • Padding
  • Max width
  • Widget alignment
  • Top and bottom margin

Customize the header​

Use the Header settings to control:

  • Heading visibility
  • Heading title and subtitle
  • Write review button
  • Rating summary
  • Rating distribution
  • Media gallery
  • Filters
  • Sorting

Customize review items​

Use the Body settings to control:

  • Review item style
  • One-column or two-column layout
  • Avatar visibility and style
  • Reviewer name visibility and format
  • Rating, content, date, media, and merchant reply visibility
  • Replier name

Customize pagination​

Use the Footer settings to control:

  • Reviews per page
  • Pagination type
  • Pagination alignment
  • Secondary button style and colors

Reviews per page can be set from 1 to 20.

Customize the empty state​

Use the Empty settings to control what shoppers see when a product has no published reviews.

You can hide the widget when empty or show a custom no reviews title and subtitle.

Customize the write review form​

Use the Modal settings to control:

  • Modal title and subtitle
  • Rating size
  • Product information visibility
  • Photo upload availability
  • Field labels
  • Submit button text
  • Thank-you message

Click Save after making changes.
