Why is the star rating not showing?

If the Star rating widget is missing from your product page, check the following.

The Star rating block was not added​

The Star rating widget is a Theme App Block.

Open the Shopify theme editor, go to a product page template, and make sure the Star rating block is added.

The product has no published reviews​

If the widget is set to hide when empty, it will not appear until the product has at least one published review.

Open the Star rating settings in MP Product Reviews and check Hide widget when empty.

The block was added to the wrong template​

If your theme uses multiple product templates, the block may only exist on one template.

Check the template used by the product you are viewing.

The theme editor was not saved​

After adding or moving the block, click Save in Shopify theme editor.

Storefront data has not synced​

The Star rating reads published review summary data from Shopify product metafields.

If you recently published or unpublished reviews, wait a few minutes and refresh the storefront page.
