How to enable the product labels app embed

Product labels are displayed on your storefront through a Shopify App Embed.

Before product labels can appear on your product pages, you need to enable the Product labels app embed in your theme editor.

Open the theme editor

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store.
2. Click Themes.
3. Find your current theme.
4. Click Customize.

Enable the app embed

1. In the theme editor, open App embeds.
2. Find Product labels.
3. Turn it on.
4. Click Save.

After saving, the app embed is active for your current theme.

Return to the app

Go back to MP Trust Badges & Labels and open Product labels.

If the setup banner is still showing, click Re-check to confirm that the app embed has been enabled.

Create or activate a label

The app embed only displays labels that match your label settings.

Make sure:

• You have created at least one product label
• The label status is Active
• The label display conditions match the product you are viewing
• The label timing is valid
• You are checking a product page

Check your storefront

Open a product page on your storefront and confirm that the label appears on the product image.

If it does not appear immediately, wait a few minutes and refresh the page.

If the app embed is not working

Check the following:

• The Product labels app embed is turned on.
• You clicked Save in the theme editor.
• You enabled the app embed on the correct live theme.
• The product label is active.
• The product matches the label conditions.
• The selected display date range includes today.
• You are viewing a product page, not another page type.

If you recently changed or published a new theme, you may need to enable the app embed again for that theme.
