How to add trust badges to your theme

Trust badges are displayed on your storefront through a Shopify Theme App Block.

After customizing your badges in the app, you need to add the Trust badges block to your theme so customers can see it on your product page.

Before you start​

Make sure you have already customized and saved your trust badges in MP Trust Badges & Labels.

If you have not done this yet, open the app and go to Trust badges to choose your badges and adjust the design.

Add the trust badges block​

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store.
  2. Click Themes.
  3. Find your current theme and click Customize.
  4. Open a product page template.
  5. In the left sidebar, choose the section where you want to display the badges.
  6. Click Add block.
  7. Select Apps.
  8. Choose Trust badges.
  9. Move the block to your preferred position.
  10. Click Save.

We recommend placing trust badges near the main purchase area on your product page.

Common placements include:

  • Below the Add to cart button
  • Above the Buy it now button
  • Below product payment information
  • Near shipping or guarantee messages

The best position depends on your theme layout, but badges usually work best when shoppers can see them before making a purchase decision.

Preview the result​

After saving your theme:

  1. Open a product page on your storefront.
  2. Check that the trust badges appear in the correct position.
  3. Review the layout on both desktop and mobile.
  4. Adjust the block position in the theme editor if needed.

If the badges do not appear​

Check the following:

  • The Trust badges block has been added to the correct product template.
  • You clicked Save in the Shopify theme editor.
  • Your trust badge settings were saved in the app.
  • At least one badge is selected.
  • You are viewing a product page that uses the template you edited.

If the badges still do not appear, try refreshing the storefront page or opening it in a private browser window.
